CSAR, Corpus Server Architecture

CSAR, Corpus Server Architecture, is a set of libraries and CGI interfaces to facilitate user interaction with corpus management systems, such as CWB. However, it is not limited to Corpus WorkBench. The same architecture can be used for accessing Manatee, XAIRA or any other corpus query tool.

This project is in its planning stage. The preliminary version is available for download from the project web page. This is a release of the original CQP interface as developed by Serge Sharoff with corrections from Emiliano Guevara. In addition to a Perl interface, the project also has a PHP interface developed by Andrew Hardie.

Current discussion of CWB and CSAR is going on the CWB mailing list.
